Nigerian Students Qualify for the MOS World Championship

Six National winners at the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) competition have qualified to compete at the World Championship in Orlando, United States, later this month.

Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) is an annual competition conducted in Nigeria by an educational agency, Readmanna that challenges students to demonstrate their proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word version 2013 and 2016.

According to Mrs Edna Agusto (Chief Executive Officer, Readmanna), the MOS National Championship was held over a period of seven months (October 2017 – April 2018) with about 479 entries from 22 secondary schools and two universities in Lagos, Oyo, Ondo, Ogun, Rivers, Kwara and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.

The winners include three students from Aduvie International School( Nemieboka Alfred ,  Chidiebere Jeffery, Usman Abdullah) ; Iyke-Osuji Victor of Faith Academy, Ota, Ogun State; Holdings Ogon from the Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA),  Ondo State and Udounwa Theodor of Thomas Adewumi International College, Kwara state alongside two Information and Communication Technology (ICT) teachers.

They would join participants from other countries in the world to contest for the winning cast prize of  $7000 from the 29th of July to August 1, 2018.
