#StartupSouth Partners Wish 99.5FM on Business RoundTable
As part of efforts to improve access to information on how to grow and start innovation based businesses, including access to funding, #StartupSouth has announced the debut of a Business RoundTable Radio Entrepreneurship Education Program on Wish 99.5FM, Port Harcourt.
The 30 minutes show will leverage experienced faculties from across Nigeria/Africa including Tomi Davies (President, ABAN and Co-Fouder, Lagos Angel Network)-teaching different aspects of starting/running a business. It would also feature showcasing results from programmes, businesses and other opportunities from the #StartupSouth network in the form of quick interviews.
Over the years, #StartupSouth has announced itself as a Startup/Entrepreneurship ecosystem development project focused on the South-South/South-East. The goal is to educate, support and attract investors to founders living and operating in the regions.
In a release made available to us by the convener of #StartupSouth, Uche Aniche, he explained that the programme will also have a dedicated portal for Q&A for those following the episodes and taking the challenge to build different solutions.
Other areas of focus for the Business RoundTable Radio Entrepreneurship Education Program include: Introduction to Innovation/Entrepreneurship, Validating Ideas, Team Building, Introduction to Selling, Introduction to Finance/Accounting Tools, Unit Economics, Funding, Pitching and many more.
The show which is a partnership between Wish 99.5FM (Wish 99.5 Fm is the first and only business radio east of the Niger operating out of Port Harcourt. Their signal is received across Five states in the regions) and #StartupSouth will last for one year initially and is billed to start from December 24, 2018, 9:00am every week day.
